A memorial fountain in the village of Gunjevci

On photography is a memorial fountain in the village of Gunjevci, erected in 1988 for the victims killed on February 19, 1945 (all victims are Serbs). There is a text on the monument. “On February 19, 1945, wild Ustasha criminals brutally massacred 96 residents from seven surrounding villages – 68 in Božo Vukmir’s house and 28 in the hamlet of Brezina. Among the victims of this crime are 44 children, 14 young people, 34 women, and 4 elderly people.”
